charming cafe in westwood

This is a quaint little brunch spot to go to in Westwood. They have fresh sandwiches and salads for lunch and egg & waffle dishes for breakfast. I actually came for breakfast, and I ordered the asparagus and goat cheese omelet... I have to say, though it was a bit pricey for my linking it tasted quite divine! We were seated outside on a sunny day, and we were just watching passerbyers on Broxton which was lovely~ I would definitely go there again, but once my wallet fills up!

Pros: yummy omelets, adorable ambience

Cons: pricey!

Adorable European-style cafe, but OVERPRICED

Le Pain is a charming spot for brunch or lunch on a sunny day. There is sidewalk seating, and since Broxton is not a highly-trafficked street (it's right off Westwood), you get the feeling you are lounging at a little French cafe. The food is very tasty - the bread is fresh, and the platters of fruit and cheese or sandwiches are delicious and gourmet. The mint lemonade is great, and the variety of fruit tarts and desserts is unbelievable. However, everything here is considerably overpriced, especially since the teh food is light and the portions are not that big.

Pros: ambience, food, desserts

Cons: value

LOVE this place! It's a very cute cafe--almost hidden! The food is so good and flavorful--try the mint lemonade on a hot day! The prices are not like a greasy spoon but it's worth it for healthy, quality food!

Pros: good food, moderate prices, cute setting

Cons: small place, very popular

Great bread!

Great fresh baked bread and equally good sandwiches that come on them. A little overpriced, yes, but worth it. Haven't tried many other things on their menu, but plan to! And yes, you MUST try the lemonade with mint- so good!

Great sandwiches, especially the one with prosciutto is a delicacy...The food is delicious but slightly overpriced and the service isn't always attentive. You must try their homemade lemonade with mint it tastes like a virgin mojito. Nice presentation of th food on wooden plates.

Pros: food, lemonade

Cons: a little expensive, service
