A HIGHWAY ROBBERY

It is okay if you need a place to hang out late and if you like hookah and smoke all over the place. Food is okay depends on what you order. i agree with the other review; that you could choke on your food but ask for water and you get their own filtered habibi brand bottled water for three or four bucks depends on who is your waiter.

Pros: open late

Cons: extremely over priced

Worst hookah lounge in Westwood

This place is disgusting! I can not think of one thing positive about Habibi Cafe. Well, I guess the atmosphere is alright, but besides that it was horrible. The food was average at best, the Hookah was nasty and they charged us for water which should be free! The hookah was very harsh for most of the night and it burned my throat. I asked the waiter for some water while I was coughing and he brought it 15 minutes later. Everything was overpriced... I felt like I paid for a burnt throat and headache. I honestly hope they close down.

Pros: Music

Cons: Hookah, Service, Prices

Great Fun Place for Eye Candy and Hookah
Reviewed by JustAGirl5678 on 2009-01-11T15:42:54Z

I went there for the first time last night w/ my friends and I absolutely LOVED the place. We got sat in only 15 minutes, the salad I ordered was seriously one of the best salads I've ever had! (fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce,). The host was really cool and friendly. There was plenty of eye candy!! Lots of young people, a good mix of crowd, plenty of middle-eastern people, but also white people, asian, latino etc... They're open LATE (I think till 3:00). The place really was going off when we got there at 12:45. I drove all the way from South Orange County to go there and it was worth the drive! We got our food really fast, the hookah was delicious, and it was just great ambience and atmosphere. The owner was really cool too! It's right by UCLA (literally RIGHT by it), so it's a great part of town. Westwood is probably one of the best parts of L.A., so you feel safe like you can just walk around and be OK, kind of like Burbank... THey had great music. Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend this place if you want to stay out late, people watch, eat great food, and smoke some good hookah.

Pros: Ambience, music, party atmosphere, friendly service, food, taste of hookah, open late, comfortable seats

Cons: They don't serve alcohol

Happening, Relaxed, kick back and have fun.

I was at Habibi's on a Thursday night, it was great, not too many people, great seating area, great international music, friendly people. The service depends all in a person, when you go somewhere, you give them the same respect you want to receive, so be nice and you will get a great service. Servers are not slaves!!! I also meet the Owner "Fati", as he parked his car, I went to speak to him and tell him what a great place he has. He is a great guy, very nice and respectful. They have good prices and if anyone thinks it's too expensive then they should make a U turn and go to MCDonalds. Our bill for 3 people was $30.00, for Hooka, tea and desert and if you think this is expensive you should not go out of the house at all. I defenitly recomand this place for hang out, coffee, dinner and a late night hooka loung or even dancing. See you all at Habibi cafe & Lounge and let's have fun!
