Tanzore reflects the contemporary movement of Indian cuisine toward more modern taste and culinary sensibilities. Come with us and experience the evolution of Indian cuisine in a dramatic and colorful setting. Our chefs at Tanzore have re-interpreted classic recipes by integrating familiar Indian herbs and spices with seasonal and fresh, organic, local California ingredients. We call our cuisine Indian Modern and we believe it captures the contemporary movement toward the tastes of the more modern plate. Perfectly complimenting our eclectic menu is the dazzling array or wines in our 2,000 bottle cellar. Every one of these world class wines has been carefully chosen to enhance your Tanzore dining experience.

Tips

  • Where to Sit
The bar is a nonstop psychedelic trip of color and music infused with traditional Indian sensibilities and a foxy crowd to boot.
  • The Extras
A plush private room accommodates up to 40 guests. Also, the adjacent Gaylord banquet room is available for 170 guests and has private bar accessibility, a dance floor and buffet stations.
  • What to Drink
Sweet tooths and tea lovers can try the Bollywood hamgama, a sinful combination of Voyant Chai Cream liqueur (black tea, rum, spirits and various spices) topped off with a heaping tablespoon of cardamom heavy cream. As for those with more "adult" tastes, there's plenty to choose from thanks to the 2000-bottle wine cellar.

I would not recommend this place. Gnat flying around on table sat on lassi. Rude indian waiter.

We had a great time at Tanzore on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is beautiful with very pretty accents and gorgeous colors. The food was delicious... very flavorful! I ordered the Tandoori Tiger Prawns as an appetizer and the Tandoori Chicken as my entree. They were very tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try something different at a very pretty restaurant! =)

Pros: Great Food! Beautiful Restaurant!

Cons: Can be a little pricey $$$

Just had dinner last night at Tanzore and has a wonderful experience. Though the restaurant was fairly busy the service, the food and the atmosphere were first rate. Seared tuna and avocado - yum! salmon - yum! We love the lounge too.

Pros: Delicious food; great service

Cons: None

I went to Sunday brunch with friends and was disappointed. There was no salad buffet with a choice of main courses and one of 6 desserts as shown on their website. Instead, there was a buffet. Strike one. The dishes at the buffet were sometimes empty. Strike two. When we got up to get seconds, our dirty plates weren't removed. Strike three. You're only supposed to get three strikes, right? The food in the buffet was good though the chicken was dry. Then, there's an 18% gratuity for a party of six. For self serve? Strike four. When we tried to round down by 19 cents per person and pay 150$ (25 each) instead of the 151.18 on the bill, the waitress told us we were short. Strike five. After we paid and we sat around talking in a mostly empty restaurant she disappeared. Never asked if we'd like water more water or anything. During the meal she never asked how everything was, whether we'd like anything else. Strike six. As I left I spoke with the manager about the 18% gratuity being excessive and about the waitress not bringing us water after we paid, and about her dinking us for a buck. Although he thanked me for my input, all he could manage to say was that the 18% is policy. Strike seven. Needless to say, if someone suggests to me that we go to this place I'll say that I'd rather go elsewhere.

Pros: Indian food

Cons: Service, price

I wonder if people expect this place to be the typical all you can eat Indian buffet for $12. Well this is not that type of Indian Restaurant. This place is the BEST INDIAN restaurant and most beautiful restaurant I have ever seen. We went with a bunch of friends last weekend to celebrate my boyfriends birthday, ordered drinks at the bar and then sat down for dinner. We all ordered something different is was great- The Calamari was delicious and then I ordered the Lamb Chops, simply the best that I have ever had. Perfectly spiced and flavored. Lets not mention the awesome Chocholate cake...yummmmy! The lounge had these great fashion videos and bollywood songs playing...fun to watch and something different for a change. While the music was eclectic and upbeat but enjoyable. At least we could all have a conversation. They told us about this new "Holy Cow" Veg menu which I think is fantastic since my mom is veg..I will definitely come back to Tanzore.

Pros: Valet Service, Great music, awesome ambience, good for groups

Cons: love it and will be a repeat customer
