Del's is bringing RI's famous soft frozen Italian ice to Venice, California. Del's fruit ice is made from a secret recipe of filtered water, fruit and sugar.
Del's Lemonade started in Italy in 1840. Mr. DeLucia stored snow in caves during the winter insulating it with straw and in the summer, he would mix the juices from ripe lemons with the right amount of snow and sugar to create a wonderful and refreshing drink.
Soft frozen Italian ice is a healthier, non dairy dessert. Ice cream, frozen yogurt, smoothies are all higher in fat, sugar and calories than Italian ice. This Venice, CA Italian ice haven currently offers 8 flavors: lemon, watermelon, cherry, peach-mango, grapefruit, pomegranate, blueberry and lemon-lite.
Del's Ice Truck hits the road to bring this East coast treat to neighboring towns surrounding Venice, California and is also available for events.
