I gave birth here and it is one of the best experiences. all the staff helped me through the labour by relaxing and massaging me and at the pushing I felt very confident with the staff that did not rush me to push out the baby. I was so well supported and attended to throughout my pregnancy and birth with Sacred Entrance that it was everything I could have asked for! This is the best maternity care a family can find - impeccable competence, professionalism and friendly compassion are expertly combined at Sacred Entrance. Although we are insured with an HMO that would have covered most costs with an obgyn and hospital, midwifery care with Sacred Entrance was well worth paying for out of pocket. I wouldn't trade what I got with them for insured services anywhere else. Connie and Aleks are such talented and inspiring midwives! They are both intelligent, experienced and remarkable women. Their offices are managed with absolute charm and efficiency. All my needs were met throughout my 41 and a half weeks of pregnancy. I delivered my second child - a healthy, beautiful, 11 pound 4 ounce (!) boy - at home, in a birthing pool with my family and my midwives perfectly supporting me. It was an amazing experience. Can't speak highly enough of these midwives and their support staff. Everyone takes such good care of you throughout your entire pregnancy and birth experience. They provide encouragement, vital information, and compassionate care consistently. As a result of their fabulous support throughout my pregnancy, I approached labor and birth with confidence and awe. Our beautiful daughter was born peacefully at home in the water surrounded by loving kindness. The tenderness with which the midwives handled and coaxed me and my baby during, and in the hours after delivery and at our post-partum visits makes my heart melt. They are amazing women who believe in the miracle of birth and babies, and the intuit power of mothers. They are on-call 24/7 for 6 weeks after delivery to allay any of those 'new parent' fears. Their service is affordable and far exceeds any monetary value. These are the women to birth with.
