Cornerstone Prep Charter School Reviews

This school has the ability to be a great school but there is no much lack of organization by admin. staff there are some teachers on staff that are very concerned about the students educational needs but with the lack of leadership that is there I can see where it would be hard with school being housed in the salvation army site gives them more opportunities but they are not being used to the fullest or they are started and never followed through with throughout the school year some wonderful programs are started but sadly they seem to fall be the wayside during the months of state testing prep is the only time you see dedication from the leadership if qualified leadership was obtained this could be a great school. I feel the positive opinions stated by others maybe staff written and do not reflect the truth

This school has outstanding staff, but the organization as a whole really does not care about educating students. The board is only concerned about money and the bottom line, not about what's best for the kids and staff. While your child may have a fantastic teacher, know that the organization treats that teacher very poorly. Our teachers and students deserve better than the Rader Group.

My child goes to this school and she loves it. The principle is very open to listening to parents. He is fair and demands quality education. He is a great leader. The teachers are consistent and seem to be very dedicated. I am so happy at this school. I recommend it to everyone.

The elementary school is a wonderful school. I have notice a considerable change in the last three years since the new principal has been there.

Cornerstone is a great school. The Principal is an amazing leader and the teachers are great. My child loves going here!

This school has turned around a lot compared to the last two years. The teachers are dedicated to improving the quality of the school.

Its depressing and a bad environment all around.

Cornerstone is a disgrace to the educational system! My children were mistreated by the Principal and the teachers. They can not keep their staff longer than a few months because all they care about is ADA which means they need as many students as possible so that they can collect as much money as they can! They don't care about the children, they care about the money they receive for each enrolled student!

This school has been a big disappointment. At the beginning of the 2005-2006 school year we the Parents were promised to receive quality education but were given poor learning skills.

This school is totally unorganized and cannot keep a dedicated staff. I think it should be shut down.

There are no words that could explain this school. For parents considering Cornerstone Prep I would strongly advise you to do some serious research. Things are not always what they seem. Very little professionalism. The current site is horrible. Parents please research! I wish I had.

Cornerstone prep is chaotic. Nothing is stable. The principal is not given any authorirty by the board of directors and the teachers have no resources whatsoever. The staff is severly underpaid, even for teachers, and the minute amount of materials that exist are outdated.

Cornerstone has changing very greatly this year thanks to the wonderful strict new principal Mr. Moe Harris.Thank you for changing our school Mr.Harris

The new principal is great. He is working really good to help prevent the bad kids to be bad.He is an ex-cop so he is someone who know's what he's doing. The worst kids that went last year are now so well behaved. They went from 30 min. to get quiet to 6 seconds and they are still working on making it faster. It is amazing they are going to the top this year academically and physically .They are acting great now.

i think sornerstone prep middle school isn't working very well.my kids come home with report cards with c's and d's and they never even let us know that our childeren re doing bad.they need to start giving us more time to do things for our childeren.i got an invitation to somethingthat i couldn't go to because they gave the invitation out on the day before.i think cornerstone prep middle school is going to fall greatly!

My children attended this school last year when it was an elementary school levels k-6. Although some of the teachers are great I found that the children did not receive enough physical activity and all required academic curriculum necessary to prepare them for the next grade level. This was the schools first year in existence I was not willing to see if they would get organized for the following year so I have moved on.

I had a very horrible expreience with this school. For one my son was enrolled after his previous school was shut down. I was very excited to find this school enrolled him and 3 weeks later find out that he is no longer enrolled. The principle tells all the parents its because of the fire marshall but we find out later that it was not true. I advise any parent before considering this school for your child think hard. I would'nt recommend this school to my worst enemy.
