Ramona Convent Secondary School Reviews

This school unfortunately is not for everyone. If your daughter is not a solid 'A' or 'B' student, we would not recommend this school. due to enrollment capacity they may accept your child even if your daughter doesn't score well on the entrance exams. But, after a year of attending Ramona, you may be asked not to return for her 10th year. The faculty at the school is good and their motto to empower women is great, until they fall behind or it takes an effort to guide and bring them up to speed. None of the teachers will take responsibility for the end result of what happened to your daughter. It all falls back on your daughter a bit too late. Avoid the pain, humiliation, disappointment of rejection and an expensive tuition. This school is great for 'A' and 'B' grade students. Those women are easier to empower.

As I look back as an Alumni, I truly appreciate the education and experience I received here as a student. Ramona truly challenged me to be my own person and stick out among the crowd. On graduation day you will see that your daughter has become everything that Ramona Promised in it's mission statement. My daughters will surely be future Ramona girls!!

I am a 2004 alumni of Ramona & have nothing but love, respect and total appreciation for this school. I had mixed feelings about Ramona while I was there, but looking back I am so extremely grateful that my parents struggled to get me through 6 years of tuition. I often find men telling me that is so rare to find a woman like me who truly is a 'complete package' and I just think that I could bring them a handful of my old Ramona girls and prove to them that they are out there! This school doesn't invest much of its money into the athletics department, this does irritate the student athletes at times. And if you expect your child to get an athletic scholarship for college, this is not the place to be recruited! As an athlete I wish this were different but my girls will be Ramona girls!

I am an alumi of this school and although i HATED attending an all girls high school - now that i'm older, i definitely appreciate my parents for paying to get me into an exquiste school! The teachers were caring and the curriculum def. helped me when i was in college (i was ahead for once!). If i have a daughter, i would want her to attend ramona...

I am a senior at Ramona and I am very grateful to be in this school. It is an academically challenging school and I assure that you daughter will receive the best education possible. The environment is very gregarious and amiable that I know every girl here likes. It teaches responsibility, organization and time management. I reccomend this high school for anyone who wants to send their daughter there.

My daughter is a frosh @ Ramona. We have another who is currently a seventh grader and is headed for Ramona. We are very happy with her coursework and the level of difficulty of her classes at Ramona. If your daughter is looking to be challenged, this is the school. Beautiful campus and neighborhood, safe environment. We groomed our daughters to be Ramona Grads. Friends of ours who are grads of Ramona credit the school for their academic success in college. Well worth the tuition.

I'm currently a student at Ramona Convent. The academics here are very challenging and are great for college prep. But if your daughter is highly involved in sports or drama. Ramona isn't the place to go. There aren't very many clubs and the student government isn't too great. Also be aware that Ramona is an all girls high school, girls tend to complain a lot about that, so be prepared. But if you're searching for great education, come to Ramona.

My older daughter graduated from Ramona in 2000, and my younger daughter is now a senior there. They both enrolled beginning as seventh graders (their choice), and they both are happy with that decision. Ramona is a safe environment with a challenging, up-to-date curriculum; the atmosphere is friendly, respectful, and caring; the setting is peaceful and park-like. My daughters are very different, yet they both have made good solid friends and received the best education possible. Students come in with average to high standardized test scores and end up doing really well on Advanced Placement tests -- better than do the students at many schools that take only the top scorers. I highly recommend this school!

My oldest daughter graduated in 03, she is now on her fourth year in college. Majoring in biology, she has chosen a second major in english, writing. Thanks to her teachers at ramona convent she has been able to tackle a heavy load academically, while taking honors classes. Thank you teachers at ramona my daughter is s 'rising super star'. Watch out world. Also, my young daughter is now a ten grader at ramona convent. She is very happy there. I know that she is well taken care off. I can't say enough of the great staff. The beautiful campus. Safety has never been a problem. Security is outstanding.

Ramona Convent is on par with Saint Joseph as one of the best all-girls Catholic schools in the area.

I was not very impressed with the campus setting or staff. you seemed to be lost in this campus, not a very good neighborhood.

Above average academic school specializing in the humanities and sciences. If your child is athletically inclined or greatly interested in Drama this wouldn't be the best fit. If you daughter enjoys science and freedom academically to pursue her own interests this is a perfect fit.

I am a student at Ramona Convent and so far I love it. The atmosphere is great. Also, the teachers are nice and you can really relate to them. The campus is also a plus. If I ever have a daughter in the future, I will most definitely send her here.

My Daughter is a Junior in school and I have seen a tremendous amount of improvement in her. I owe all of success to all of the great teachers at school. they all have a tremendous amount of compasion and are more than willing to give of themselves to help a student before or after school. We whole heartedly recommend this school to anyone.

As a Ramona Convent Alumni,I recommend this school to parents seeking well-rounded, individualized, and superior college preparatory education. I feel honored to be a graduate of Ramona Convent.
