Horace Mann Elementary School Reviews

this is the most educational school ive seen in my whole life, when i was a little girl i kept on moving and changing schools, i wish i went to horace mann.............

This school has a warm, family like feeling that is lacking in other middle schools in the district. The Principle is accessible and the teachers and the front office top notch. We are very happy with everything except the fact that the school does not offer STAR Program.

This school has great parent involvment and an amazing staff of teachers, administrators and specialists.

We have enrolled in the pre school program and are enjoying it very much. The teachers are great and the parents are friendly and involved.

We moved here from Canada (where the public school system is, with minor exceptions, very good)for our daughter to go to grade 7 at Horace Mann. It is a very dynamic school, with a great principal and very good teachers. We were very happy with the school and the teachers. In general the staff are very approachable and kind which we appreciated very much. They used to have an exceptionally dynamic and talented principal for many years, who is not at the school any more. The new principal is also kind, and firm. In short, we remain very impressed with this school and felt that our move to the area was worth it just because of the school.

We have been involved with the pre school program and find it satisfactory.

I love the small school feel of this middle school. The teachers know all of the children and work as a team to give them the best academics.

horace mann is truly a great school. kids are included in everything and love horace manns non competitive enviorment. its newly renovated playground brings joy to the children and the teachers make learning a fun thing.

The facilities are excellent, but it is the outstanding, caring teachers that make a difference. If they continue expanding their gifted programs, it will be the best school in the state.

the academics are great at this school.

This is a very good public school. My family made the transitions from private to public and my child is doing really well.
