Coliseum Street Elementary School Reviews

Coliseum is an excellent school. It features small class sizes and the teachers really care! The principal Mrs. LeSassier knows every student by name and is very welcoming and approachable. However, the middle and high school are well below average. After fifth grade send your child to a magnet school.

this school is fantastic its the best educational school i have ever attended.

I find that the teachers really seem to go the extra mile to bring a fun learning environment to the children which makes my children motivated to come to school and look forward to each day at school.

This is a good school it could be much better with a little more parent support, and smaller class sizes. The children need more indiviualized attention.

Coliseum has the capability to be a great school because the principal has only the best in mind for her students. Discipline The teachers need to be more professional and the parents need to take more responsibilty for their children. If all that comes together and the same principal stays, Coliseum could be one of the best schools in the district.

The school is a good school overall and the principal is doing her best to bring up the SAT 9 score. My son have been going there since the first grade and will continue to go there until the fifth grade. The principal and assistant principal are very helpful and if there are any difficulties with your child, they try do everything that is possible to help him/her. My son has a learning disability and from the time he was there, every program that is available to him has been used. The only thing I do not like is that there is not a lot of parent involvement. Other than that, I think that it is a good school and the teachers are willing to work with you, providing you do your part. My son have learned a lot since he has been there.
